Tracy
creates handmade Earth Art using native and naturalized British
Columbian plants embedded in hand-cast paper. His love of nature
and the Canadian West Coast, where he was born, compelled him
to study indigenous botanicals. While making his living as a tree
planter, Dan began working in his unique art form. He then developed
it further at his residence by the sea. The paper in his works
is totally hand-cast from local plants and he uses natural dyes
whenever possible. With his Earth Art, Dan transplants the wild
beauty of the coast, indoors. |
