On of the finest Art Galleries on Vancouver Island

Gary Pearson served for 20 years in the Canadian Navy and worked as a commercial Rock cod fisher for seven years, supplying live fish to Victoria's Undersea Gardens and occasionally to the Vancouver Public Aquarium. On his way into Victoria to make his deliveries, he would drop off fresh rockfish at Sooke Harbour House, for its daily menu. Understandably then, his subjects are of the sea, strongly sculpted in local marble, from veins that Gary and his wife Karen discovered. Gary is a member of the West Coast Sculpture Association and has participated in the Victoria Natural History Society Art Show.
