| Syl Hopwood,
knitter extraordinaire, lives and works in Sooke. Textiles and textile art have long been a passion for Syl. In 1999, she started to specialize knitting artistic shawls; they are such a feminine item, versatile, lightweight and make even the most ordinary of outfits a real “fashion statement.”
Her work is inspired by nature and has expanded to include all its elements. All her shawls are named: Thunder, Takayama Snowfall, Caribbean Nights, Freshia, Lavender Surprise and so it goes.
Syl hopes that you enjoy your shawl as many hours of creativity and love has gone into each and everyone. She is sure that you will be complimented many times when you wear this little piece of magic. |
