| Sue
Hara
believes in living and working creatively, undertaking every task
with an artist's eye. She works from a place of spirit, seeing
her ceramic pieces as soul food rather than just "things" in a
materialistic culture. She began by making both functional and
decorative pieces, using many techniques. Now Sue is fusing her
two loves, pottery and gardening, and creating garden art (birdbaths)
and flower containers suitable for Ikebana. Sue has exhibited
across the country. Her work can be found in the collections of
the Bronfman Corporation, the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Maltwood
Gallery, University of Victoria . |
