| Susan
Elkins,
impressionist painter, uses colour to express the arrangements
and harmonies of her subjects. Whether painting a landscape or
still life, she realizes it is vital to truthfully portray natural
light. With vibrant, subtle or more somber hues, she faithfully
captures bright sun-filled gardens, foggy damp lush fields, or
a quiet lane on a hazy afternoon. She has participated in group
and solo exhibitions across Canada and her work is found in both
corporate and private collections. She received the education
that most influenced her at The Cape School of Art in Provincetown,
Massachusetts. |
