On of the finest Art Galleries on Vancouver Island

Sheila Beech, felt maker extraordinaire, lives and works in Sooke's first district courthouse and jail, which she has converted to be her home, bed and breakfast and studio shop. Rich colours and innovative designs are the hallmark of her wearable art, GnomeKnocker slippers, and designs for interiors. Her work can be found in collections, and closets, worldwide. Sheila has also made felt for New York designer Donna Karan and for the New York Metropolitan Opera. Her work has been selected for many juried art shows, most recently the Sooke Fine Arts Show.
